University of Brighton grew out of the Brighton School of Art in 1859. The University now has three campuses in Brighton and a fourth in Eastbourne, our university community is made up of over 21,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, which included of approximately 2000 international students, and also over 2,300 staff from over 150 different countries across our 4 campuses. 

We teach and offer over 500 different courses at the university. Whilst one of the greatest areas of strength remains Art and Design (We are ranked top 50 in the world and number 8 in the UK in the QS subject rankings). We also offer programmes in architecture, business, media, life, health and physical sciences, design, engineering, medicine, social science and education. Students are exposed to a wide range of advanced equipment, including simulated aircraft, wind turbines, bio-macromolecular science laboratories, radio and television studios equipped with advanced equipment, industrial looms and internationally leading design equipment.

Colorful activities enrich students' extracurricular life: more than 60 sports clubs, more than 100 student groups, fully match your interest, expand your interest to try new things and make new friends.
