  美国各大院校开设的市场营销硕士专业大致也可以分为两大类:Marketing Research / Analytics和IMC(Integrated Marketing Communications)。

  1、Marketing Research / Analytics方向

  · Johns Hopkins University - MSc in Marketing

  一年制的项目,对申请者的专业背景没有特别的要求,但建议最好有一定的数学背景;是转专业申请者和对学校排名比较看重的申请人的理想选择;课程设置上虽然相对侧重Analytics,但也提供branding,strategy和finance等课程,有助于学生综合能力的提升。

  IMC整合营销概念的鼻祖,申请难度较大;不过这里需要重点提一下,通常所说的全美最牛的Mkt项目是西北大学开设在Kellogg学院下的MBA和PhD项目,而它的MS Marketing则是开设在传播学院(Medill School of Journalism Graduate)下的。尽管如此,从师资力量和教学质量来说,这个项目都还是很不错的。该项目课程共6个track可选:Brand Strategy,Digital and Interactive Marketing,Strategic Communications, Content Marketing,Marketing Analytics和Media Strategy。15个月的学习共分为5个学期,6个specialization任选一个或多个。一个specialization由2门必修+2门或以上的选修课构成。从就业方面考虑,大多数中国学生至少会选择一个Marketing Analytics track。

  地理位置十分有优势;该项目的特点是比较重视实践,几乎每一门课的case都是给真实客户做的特定的项目,最终成果也会请客户来参与评定;此外,凭借其强大的network,NYU也会经常邀请一些行业中的专业人士作为guest speaker去到课堂上和学生们进行讲解和分享。
